Cookie's Grandma's House

Chapter 1:

Ever since her mom told Cookie they would spend the

weekend. At Grandma's farmhouse Cookie couldn't

wait for the weekend to arrive. She was in her room

packing some video games she wanted to

take with her on the trip. When her mom walked into

her room

"Hey sweetie, what are you doing?" She asked her

"Just packing some video games that I want to take

to grandma," Cookie answered her

"Oh, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I'm

afraid that I've some bad news about our trip."

"Aw Mom, don't tell me that we're not going."

Cookie whined

"Oh no, it's nothing like that we're still going. But I

just got off the phone with Daisy's mom. " I'm sorry

sweetie, but I'm afraid that Daisy won't be able to come

with us this weekend." Her mom told her

"What! Why not?" Cookie cried out

"Daisy badly twisted her ankle this afternoon. The

doctor told her that she had to stay in bed for a

couple of days so it could heal." Her mom explained

"What a kus!" Cookie smirked

"Now Cookie, be nice." Her mom frowned. "Daisy's

mom explained that she was riding her bike. And

the chain broke causing her to crash into a tree

"But I've got an idea why don't we invite your

cousin, Tina?" I'm sure that she would love to come

with us." Her mom added

"Yeah sure, I'm sure she'd." Cookie frowned

Cookie's mom stared at her for a second. Before

 she started laughing

"Cheer up Cookie, I'm sure you guys will have a

good time. You'll see."

Chapter 2:

After her mom left Cookie threw herself on her bed

and called Daisy. To see how she was feeling

"It's a bummer about your ankle. But guess what?"

My mom decided that it'd be a great idea to invite Tina

to come with us." I'd rather spend the weekend in school

than spend it with her." Cookie sighed

"Oh come on Cookie, I'm sure she's not that bad!"

Daisy Penguin laughed

"That's what you think. While our idea of a good time

is to look for new adventures." Her idea of a good

time is to sit under a shady tree and read a book!"

Cookie cried out. "And get this. We're not even real cousins

our mom just calls us that." Since we share the

same birthday and they're real close friends."

Then after laughing and joking with Daisy. She told

her

"I better finish packing. I'll call you when I get back

and tell you all the fun that I had with my dear old

cousin! Feel better!"

Chapter 3:

On Friday afternoon they headed out

Two hours later Cookie and Tina were upstairs

in the room. That they were going to share unpacking

"I'm sorry about your friend. But it was nice of your

mom to invite me this weekend." I'm sure that

we're going to have lots of fun together." Tina smiled

Cookie was still a little upset that Daisy couldn't come

Suddenly came up with an idea

"Yeah, but there's something that you should know

about my Grandma's house." Cookie told her

What?

"It's haunted." Cookie snorted

"Haunted? Right?" By who Casper!" Tina laughed

"Laugh all you want. But I'm serious didn't you

notice all those stuffed animals that were sitting inside

the living room?" Cookie frowned

"Yeah, what about them?" Tina shrugged

"Well according to my mom, Grandam's a real softie

and doesn't have the heart. To bury them."

Cookie answered

"So?" Tina began

"So, she had them stuffed and placed in the living room

Like they're still alive. "Weird huh?"

Cookie explained

"No, I think that's sweet. But what does that have to

do with her house being haunted?" Tina shrugged

Cookie was a little thrown off by Tina's answer

"You do?" She asked in a confused tone of voice

"Yeah, don't you?" Tina shrugged

"I guess. But since they were never buried correctly

They come to life at night." Looking for their resting

place." Cookie answered

"Oh come on Cookie, how stupid do you think I'm

to actually believe this dumb story."

Tina laughed

"Believe it or not. But it's true." Cookie frowned

"Whatever, I'm going downstairs to grab something

to eat. You coming?" Tina answered

"Nah, I'm going to take a nap. I'm pretty tired after

that road trip can you wake me up in an hour?"

Cookie asked her

"Sure, I'll see you later. Have a good nap." Tina smiled

Chapter 4:

A couple hours later Cookie woke up and looked

at the clock on the nightstand

"Oh great, that little nerd ball never woke me up."

Cookie yawned as she stretched her body. Then went

downstairs to the kitchen

"Mom, Grandma, Tina?" I wonder where they went to?"

Cookie walked over to get a drink of water and

noticed that there was a note on the counter

Cookie, Tina:

Grandma and I went into town to pick up

some dinner. See you soon

love Mom

"Well, that solves one mystery. But I wonder where Tina

Is?" Cookie thought to herself. Cookie began to get a

funny feeling as she entered the living room. She never

did like begin alone, especially at her Grandma's house

"Hey, Tina!" Are you in here?"

"Excuse me. But there's no need to yell." A voice from the

corner stated

"Who said that?" Tina, was that you?"

Cookie frowned

"No, it's not Tina, but I'm sure she wouldn't like you

yelling out her name as you are." The voice replied

"Okay, ha-ha nerd ball! You didn't fool me for a

second." You can come out now!"

Cookie yelled

"Young lady, what did my friend just scowl you

about all that yelling?" Another voice cried

"Oh great, unless Tina knows how to throw her voice

"There's no way that she can be in two places at the

same time." Maybe, this house is haunted."

Cookie said to herself. She started to get nervous and

ran behind the couch for a place to hide. She peeked

over the side and saw something creepy moving in the

shadows. Cookie hid again then counted to five and

peeked out again to see the creepy shadow leaning

over smiling at her

Chapter 5:

The next thing Cookie remembered was feeling

light-headed then only blackness

"Cookie? Are you okay, wake up!"

When Cookie opened her eyes Tina was looking

down at her

"Tina? Oh wow, you wouldn't believe the nightmare

I just had this creepy monster that was about to eat me."

Cookie cried out

"You mean this monster?" Her grandma giggled

and then put the creepy mask over her face

"Grandma?" What's going on? Why are you wearing

that creepy mask over your face?"

Cookie frowned

"Well Cookie, while you were napping Tina told us

about the little story you told her." So, we decided to

give you a little taste of your own haunting story."

Her mom told her

"Well, I guess you guys got me," Cookie mumbled

"Oh sweetie, we didn't mean to scare you so badly.

But I hope that you learned a lesson from all of this."

Her mom began

"Just because you don't like how a situation turned

out. Doesn't give you the right to make others

around you feel unwanted or uncomfortable."

She added

"I'm sorry Tina, I know that I've been acting like a

spoiled brat." How about if we just forget about

this whole thing and start over."

Cookie mumbled

"Sounds like a very good idea." Tina smiled

Chapter 6:

A day later Cookie and Tina were having a great time

playing and exploring. In fact, Cookie had such a

great time with Tina when it came to drop her

off at her house. She asked her

"Hey, Tina! How about the next time that we go

back to my grandma's house." We make sure that Daisy

comes with us I'd love for her to meet our new

ghostly friends!"

Tina hugged Cookie goodbye and then answered her

back laughing

"It'd be my pleasure!"
